Home on Canvas creates personalized house portraits from your photos for home keepsakes, housewarming gifts, and realtor closing gifts. Choose watercolor or black-and-white sketch, printed on canvas or paper. Paper can be ordered unframed or with a black, white, barnwood, or gold frame.

Your portrait and proof

Upload a home photograph you have permission to use, choose your print options, and add an optional caption. You can add multiple portraits and quantities to your cart and purchase them together. A separate package note can be added at checkout.

For custom portrait orders, we create your artwork and email a proof package within 24 hours of purchase. Reply to approve the artwork or request changes. Check the image and any caption carefully: printing begins only after you approve the proof package.

The 24-hour promise is for your emailed proof, not the physical print or its delivery. Website galleries show style examples and illustrative print mockups; your personal portrait is created after purchase. Screen displays can differ from the finished print.

A private offer for a prepared portrait shows the finished artwork before purchase. These orders move into printing without a separate proof-approval step.

Prices and payment

Our checkout supports CAD and USD. Select your country and currency before ordering, and review the price, quantities, and delivery information at checkout. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout. Prices and any sale savings are displayed for your selected options. A sale discount applies only while offered; no discount code is needed for the displayed sale price.

Payment is handled securely through Stripe. After payment, your order is associated with your checkout email. You can access your order history with an email sign-in link; payment alone does not sign you in.

Shipping

We offer free shipping to the United States and Canada. Your print is made to order in North America and shipped domestically to its destination country, without cross-border customs duties or import charges.

Standard deliveries use tracked ground shipping where available. Addresses requiring air service may take longer. We do not offer a guaranteed delivery date or an express-shipping option at checkout.

After you approve a custom portrait, we arrange production and then shipping. Printing, stretching, and framing take additional time; carrier transit starts after production is complete. Production and transit estimates vary by print type and delivery address and are not a guarantee. If your gift is needed for a particular date, contact us before purchasing.

We email your tracking link when your order ships. You can send a gift directly to its recipient by entering their delivery address at checkout and adding a package note. All items in a checkout share one delivery address.

Protected in transit

Prints are packed for their format, using protective packaging for canvas and framed prints and appropriate protection for paper. If your print arrives with shipping damage or a production defect, our 30-day print quality guarantee provides a replacement or full refund. Contact us within 30 days of delivery with your order details and photos.

One print, one tree

Every physical print we fulfill supports planting one tree through the tree-planting program included with its production. This applies to canvas, paper, and framed paper prints. An order containing several prints supports planting the same number of trees. Tree planting takes place through the program; it does not mean a tree is planted at your home or at the time of checkout.
